Our nurseries strive to provide a happy, healthy, and safe environment so that parents can worship confidently, knowing their children are well cared for.
Each nursery worker faithfully attends Berean Baptist Church, fills out an application, including a background check, trains with a supervisor, and is teamed up with an experienced nursery worker. Volunteers are always teamed by two or more. Each room is equipped with age-appropriate toys, cribs, and rockers, along with snacks chosen specifically for every age level.

Indoor Playground
The indoor playground at Berean Baptist Church consists of a three-story activity center. Designed for children three and older. The indoor playground is available for open play before and after services and used for BBC children’s ministries.
Toddler Play Area
The toddler play area is designed for children two and under. It is located in the Narthex (outside the sanctuary doors). We want this to be your go-to spot when your child isn’t enjoying the worship service. If the TV isn’t broadcasting at any time, please inform someone in either of the media booths at the back of the auditorium.
Mothers Room
For your convenience, a Mothers Room is available for mothers with crying and/or nursing babies. In this room, mothers can nurse, change diapers, or allow their children to play while watching or listening to the sermon through live stream.
Safety and Security: Keeping Our Children Safe
To ensure the safety and security within our BBC Children’s Ministry, BBC has partnered with KidCheck to bring you the best experience at check-in. Every child in sixth grade and younger must be checked in by a parent or guardian.
Guests, please come to the Children’s Ministry Check-in Area, and we will be glad to help you check in your child.
For those already in our BBC family and who have created a guardian account at go.kidcheck.com, you can quickly check in your children at one of the self-service kiosks at various locations using the following process:
- Find a check-in station.
- Enter the system by simply typing your ten-digit phone number.
- For each child you will be checking in, select each service that the child will attend.
- Select “Finish” at the bottom right of the screen. A child tag and a guardian receipt will print.
- Place the child’s tag on his/her back to be used as a sticker ID. Keep the guardian receipt with you. This receipt will be used at pick-up to grant admission into the Kids Zone and to authorize child pick-up.
- Make sure your cell phone is on “Vibrate.”
Nursery Director
Kim has been married to her husband Jeff for 40 years and has 4 children and 7 grandkids. She lived in Washington state until moving to Fayetteville 5 years ago to be closer to her grandchildren. She greatly enjoys baking and quilting and often caters for Berean’s pre-membership class (First Class). She has attended Berean since 2019 and has been a part of the nursery ministry since 2020.
